Spring has Sprung

It is amazing how fast time is flying. We are already in our first week of April. It brings to mind just how important it is to make the most of our days and nights. As we feel the increase of new energy we can make the most of it by simply devoting time on a daily basis to some very basic practices.

Share Your Wisdom

Giving advice or guidance that is born of experience is likened to an explorer who found a way from here to there then created a road map for others. The road map would help those interested in venturing further into the great unknown.
Our consciousness is like a vast territory waiting to be discovered.

Response and the Inner Healer

The body has wise counsel to give us if we would only still ourselves and listen. Connecting to the healing power within involves learning how to listen to your body. Notice more. Turn toward that which you have previously chosen to ignore. This naturally begins the process of evolving your ability to listen to the body.

Facebook and other things

Whatever thoughts and ideas we put out into cyber space or take in has an effect on us and others. Our thoughts have power, the spoken word has power, the thoughts and feelings we share in life and on the web have power too. It is wise to consider what we put out there in cyberspace.

Knowing Our True Nature

Our true nature is peaceful and happy. When we resist our own nature we fall prey to anger, illness, depression and so on. I am writing this at a time that has me experiencing sadness and not sure what else but what I do know is that I am not feeling like myself.

Consciously consider the nature of habits

Habits create a structure limiting the true needs of the body. Habits override the sensitive response of the body. Habits are habits and if the structure of a good habit is overriding the sensitive response of the body, how “good” is it really?

The Mind vs. Internal Guidance

The influence of the mind can be troublesome. Everyday we face the challenge to move away from the preoccupation of other spaces and other times.Generally speaking, most people hesitate or are reluctant to follow internal guidance because they simply do not trust it. It speaks quietly like a whisper, yet with desire and practice we can begin to hear and learn to recognize the voice of divine guidance and begin to trust it.

Today is not a day for Striving

Some days are not meant for striving, pushing upward and onward. Some days are designed for us to relax into the nothingness of the day. To the best of our ability let’s honor days such as these whenever they present themselves and see them as potent times to connect with Source. It is a time of creating our reality powerfully in this quiet place of present time, the now.
